Facilities

What our treks can include.

These are the facilities we arrange across our treks. What's actually included depends on the trek and package you choose, and is always confirmed in writing before you pay.

Inclusions vary by trek and package. A weekend trek may not include transport, and permits or rentals may be extra. Open any trek's details, or use the checker below, to see what applies.

Difficulty guide

How hard is each trek?

Use this as a starting point when choosing. If you're unsure, tell us about your fitness and experience and we'll suggest options.

Difficulty is a general guide. The same trek can feel much harder in snow, rain or heat, and it depends on your fitness, acclimatisation and experience. Your trek leader may change or shorten the route if conditions require it.

When to go

Every season has its trail.

Snow treks in winter, wildflowers in the monsoon, clear views in autumn. Choose a season to see suitable treks.

Months are approximate. The best time always depends on the specific route, that year's snow and rainfall, road conditions, and park or permit opening dates. Our team confirms what's open for your dates.

Stay & food

Where you'll sleep, what you'll eat.

Mountain stays are simple and practical. Here's what to expect. Each trek's itinerary lists the type of stay for every night.

Tents on the Triund ridge campsite

Camping tents

On most trail nights you'll stay in shared tents at established campsites.

  • Usually 2โ€“3 people per tent (confirm)
  • Sleeping bags and mats on camping routes
  • Basic toilet tents, where set up

High campsites

On longer treks, camps move higher each day, so expect colder nights and simpler facilities.

  • Warm layers essential at night
  • Water and toilets are basic
  • Locations depend on weather and conditions

Homestays & guesthouses

At roadheads and villages (for example Sankri, Lohajung or Ghangaria), stays are usually in local guesthouses or homestays.

  • Shared rooms on most packages (confirm)
  • Hot water and electricity may be limited
  • Some routes, like Valley of Flowers, use guesthouses only

Simple, warm mountain meals.

Where a package includes meals, food on trek days is usually simple, freshly cooked vegetarian food designed for energy at altitude. Tell us about dietary needs or allergies in your enquiry.

  • BreakfastHot drinks with a filling breakfast before the day's walk.
  • LunchPacked or hot lunch, depending on the day's route.
  • EveningTea and a light snack after reaching camp.
  • DinnerDal, rice, rotis, vegetables. Classic trail fuel.

Meal plans differ by trek and package. Travel days often aren't fully covered. Each trek's details and your confirmation message list what's included.

Prepare & pack

Tick items off as you pack. Your progress is saved in this browser on your own device. Choose a trek to add items specific to that route.

Packed0 / 0

This is a general list. Gear needs vary by trek, season and weather, so always check the final list our team sends for your batch. If you take regular medication or have health conditions, speak to your doctor before a high-altitude trek.

Safety & responsibility

Trek safely. Leave it better.

Mountains reward patience and respect. These are the principles we ask every trekker to follow, for your safety and for the places and people we visit.

Follow your trek leader

Pace, rest stops, route changes and turn-around times are decided for the group's safety. Please follow them, even close to a summit.

Respect the weather

Mountain weather changes fast. Plans may shift, and summit or pass attempts are never guaranteed.

Stay with the group

Don't go ahead alone or leave the trail. Tell the team before stepping away, even briefly.

Carry your medication

Bring enough personal medicine for the whole trip plus spares, and tell the team about any health conditions before you book.

Be altitude-aware

Ascend gradually, drink water and rest well. Tell your trek leader early if you notice warning signs, and don't go higher with symptoms. Descending is the most reliable response if they get worse.

  • Headache
  • Nausea or loss of appetite
  • Dizziness
  • Breathlessness at rest
  • Unusual tiredness

Leave no trace

Carry back all wrappers, bottles and wet wipes. Use the toilet tents or follow your leader's guidance. Never burn plastic.

Respect local communities

Ask before photographing people, dress modestly in villages and respect shrines and local customs.

Follow trail & park rules

Carry your permits and ID, stay on marked trails in protected areas, don't pick plants or flowers, and follow local rules on fires, camping and timings.

Please note: trekking in the Himalaya carries real risks from altitude, weather, terrain and remoteness. We plan carefully and carry a basic first-aid kit, but we cannot promise risk-free trekking or guarantee medical assistance. Many trails are hours or days from the nearest hospital, and mobile network is often unavailable. We recommend suitable travel insurance and a check-up with your doctor before high-altitude treks.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can't find what you need? Message us. We're happy to help you choose the right trek.

What is included in the trek package?

It depends on the trek and package. Typically it covers the trek leader and support staff, stays as per the itinerary, trek-day meals and camping equipment, but not always all of these. Open any trek's details to see its listed inclusions and exclusions. Your final inclusions are confirmed in writing before you pay.

Is transportation available?

Many treks offer shared transport from a listed pickup point, such as Dehradun, Rishikesh, Kathgodam or Manali. Each trek shows its own pickup point on its card and in its details. Vehicle type and timing are confirmed for your batch. If you're starting from another city, ask us whether a transfer can be arranged.

Where does the trek start?

Every trek has its own starting point (for example Sankri, Lohajung or Chopta) and pickup city, shown on the trek card and in the details. The exact meeting point and reporting time are shared once your booking is confirmed.

Can beginners join?

Yes. Easy treks such as Nag Tibba, Triund and Dayara Bugyal suit first-timers with basic fitness. See the difficulty guide for details. Difficult routes such as Rupin Pass or Pin Parvati need prior high-altitude experience. Tell us about your fitness and we'll suggest options.

What should I carry?

Good trekking shoes, layered warm clothing, rain gear, sun protection, water bottles, a headlamp, personal medicines and your original ID. Use our packing checklist, which adds items for your chosen trek. Our team also shares a final list for your batch.

Are meals and accommodation included?

On most packages, stays are tents at campsites and guesthouses or homestays at roadheads, and trek-day meals are often included. This varies by trek and package. Each day in the itinerary shows that night's stay. Travel-day meals are often not covered, and our team confirms everything before booking.

What happens if the weather changes?

Mountain weather is unpredictable. For safety, your trek leader may delay, shorten or change the route, and summit or pass attempts are never guaranteed. How any changes affect your plans is discussed with our team. Please ask about this before you book.

How can I enquire for a group?

Use the and enter your total number of travellers and preferred dates. Mention anything specific (a corporate group, school group, private batch or flexible dates) under additional requirements, and our team will reply on WhatsApp.

How do I confirm a booking?

Send an enquiry. Our team then confirms availability, final price, inclusions, pickup and reporting time with you on WhatsApp and shares booking and payment instructions. Your seat is confirmed only after our team confirms it with you. The website itself doesn't take bookings or payments.

How can I contact your team?

Message us on WhatsApp at +91 70375 63377, or use any "Enquire" button on this page. It opens WhatsApp with your details typed in, and you press Send.
